Why No Good Movies?

Has anyone else realized good movies are so few and far between these days? When was the last time you've seen a really good movie? The last movie I was impressed by was Juno. Stardust is another good one I've seen recently. Why are no good movies coming out any more and what was the last good movie you've seen?

I saw 10,000BC it was almost as bad an Solaris. Anyway you know that this is the second worst time of year for movies, the fall is the worst. Don't worry May will start the summer blockbusters and with it some really good movies Indiana Jones being one of them.

I saw The Other Boleyn Girl. It was good for a historical fiction movie. I think my girl crush on Scarlett and Natalie made the movie more enjoyable.

As most of you are aware I absolutely despise most every movie ever made, that being said Marissa told me the other day that she watched We Own The Night and really enjoyed it.

i saw vantage point and was somewhat entertained, but it wasn't as good as i thought. i also cracked the code to avoiding the curse of utah movie theatres which is overcrowding and rudeness. go after the movie has been out a couple of weeks and on a weekday between 11am and 3pm.

I thought you had a job Phil

I thought we were safe going to The Other Boleyn Girl because it was the late showing, it had been out for a while, and no theaters were showing it because no one wanted to see it. Alas, I was wrong. Every mother with a dirty baby came and two cackling hags sat next to me. Ryan can attest to the truthfulness of my description.

I hate when people correct me, but what Dave meant to say is that Marissa watched "We Moan the Night." It's a little Indie film about a half human, half monkey who is larger than life. He finds a small man-boy with a shaved head and the two live together in the wilderness in perfect harmony. Well, until the cops came and broke down the door to the Grenwich Village apartment they had been sharing. All of their home videos were stolen and sold on the black market. Thus the film that Marissa saw.

If you want to laugh hysterically, watch Detroit Rock City. It's a stoner movie, but really funny.
There's a good fight scene too!.
